This video game is one of the most anticipated games coming up in the year 2012. Halo4 is a one among the Halo franchise and this game is the eighth installment of the series. The game is specifically developed for Xbox 360 gaming console. Halo’s previous games attracted many gamers with new challenges and graphics used in the game. After its tremendous success in its previous trilogy, a new trilogy is being started with Halo 4. It is also named as ‘Reclaimer Trilogy’.
The Halo 4 starts with the plot which was ended in the third part of the Halo series. This part of the game is highly expected as the master chief in the game returns as the main protogonist. One of the most anticipated characters called Cortana also has its appearance in the game. Halo series is a first person game that was developed by a company called Bungie. The Microsoft game studio was its publisher, and this game had a great success with millions of copies being sold across the globe.
The characters in the game are mentioned below:
• Covenant – The enemy force present in the game. There are many alien groups in the game with different powers and difficulty levels. One of the groups is Elites, equipped with recharging shields and is deadly by nature. These troops head another coward alien group called Grunts who only fight in the presence of Elites. Jackals and Hunters are the other primary enemy groups to face, in the game.
• Secondary enemies – The opposition from these alien groups are secondary in nature. One of the secondary enemies includes Floods which is a parasetic alien form. The gamer has offered three interesting variants to this alien form namely infection, combat and covenant forms. Other secondary forces include sentinals and robotic forms.
In the game Halo three, the character called John 117 who is well known as the ‘Master Chief’ makes his entry to the game as a protogonist which can be played. This was one of the most liked characters by players, among the Halo series. The Halo 4 starts as an installment of the part which ended the Halo 3 where the ‘Master Chief’ and the Cortana drift across to another forerunner planet. This part is seen in the Halo 3 when you win the game with the highest difficulty setting.
Halo four is called the ‘Reclaimer trilogy’ as this part is different from its trilogy serires. Halo 4 is a game which is focussed on mystery, dicovery and the exploration of the various challenges rather than just a first person shooting game. The developers of the game have mentioned that the game would showcase the adaption of the human race and the UNSC to the galaxy. This happens after these groups fight against the Cortana. The plot is expected to be very interesting and challenging as 343 industries are involved in the development of the game. This game is highly anticipated and expected to release in the summer of 2012.
